Construction Engineer (Technical Drawing & Project Coordination)

We are a growing property development company based in Canggu, Bali, specializing in modern tropical residential and hospitality projects. Our work blends contemporary architecture with natural materials and thoughtful spatial design.

As part of our in-house expansion, we are looking for a Construction Engineer who is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and passionate about turning design concepts into well-executed construction results. This role will focus on technical drawings, project coordination, and on-site implementation to ensure every design is delivered with precision and quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update technical drawings, shop drawings, and detailed construction documents for residential and hospitality projects.
• Build and revise as-built drawings to reflect on-site modifications and real construction outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, and design teams to translate concepts into accurate construction drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with structural, MEP, and material requirements based on design intent and local standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and site teams to clarify design details, resolve technical issues, and ensure proper implementation.
• Conduct site inspections to verify measurements, material accuracy, and overall construction quality.
• Support project scheduling, BOQ review, and material take-off by providing technical data and advice.
• Assist in quality control and documentation throughout key construction stages.
• Maintain an organized system for project documentation, drawing archives, and revision tracking.
• Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and timeline standards set by the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical drawing, construction design, or project coordination.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and/or Revit (other design software is a plus).
• Strong understanding of building structures, construction methods, and material applications.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Based in Bali and able to work on-site (Canggu) daily.

Nice to Have

• Experience in property development, villa, or hospitality projects.
• Knowledge of local construction standards, permitting, and inspection processes in Bali.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Notion, MS Project, or similar).
